The Warrant Officer Historical Foundation strives to preserve history and educate both our military and general public audiences by sharing insight and stories from currently serving and recently retired Army Warrant Officers. This season will examine critical transition points across the Warrant Officer career lifespan, attempt to untangle the many challenging developmental processes, gain perspectives on Warrant Officer identity, and confront the environment of constant change that faces the Cohort.

CW5 (ret.) Jim Steddum, Warrant Officer Career College and Continued Service
Episode 12 features a discussion with CW5 (ret.) James (Jim) Steddum, a former Chief Warrant Officer of the JAG Corps. Jim has recently retired from active duty, beginning both a new career as a Department of Army Civilian instructing at the Warrant Officer Career College and continuing to volunteer with the local VFW and USAWOA chapters. In this episode, CW5 (ret.) Steddum discusses experiences as both a JAG Warrant Officer and a dedicated selfless servant. He then spends some time talking about the joys of teaching and the necessity of serving others, before finally sharing sage leadership advice that is sure to stand the test of time.
